The first dance, an opportunity for the newly married couple to dance in front of a gushing audience.  There once was a time when a wedding dance involved choosing a song to symbolise the relationship and enjoying a slow dance.  This might have included performing a few easy and well rehearsed dance steps.  Oh how things have changed since then.  Today’s wedding dances can be quite a competitive affair involving carefully compiled playlists, nifty choreography and more than a little ingenuity.  Many of these wedding dances not only involve the bride and groom, but also include the wedding guests.  Some opt to tell stories through their wedding dances, others veer towards humour and comedy.
